About Me
I was always meant to be a designer.
Born and raised in Dallas, Tx; as a child I designed clothes for my dolls, sister, animals -- pretty much anything I could dress up. Later, I insisted on designing my own costumes for dance, gymnastics, and pageant competitions while learning the basics of construction from my mother who brought my creations to life. Eventually I moved to Los Angeles, Ca. where I continued to develop my design aesthetic as a fashion student at Santa Monica College. There, I received my AAS in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. After living and working in Los Angeles for nearly 10 years I jumped at the opportunity to go back to school for my BFA at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I will graduate may 2019. Since moving to New York, I have worked at amazing internships, studied abroad in Italy, gained numerous professional connections in the industry, and have continued to expand and refine the skills of a designer that I have been practicing my whole life.
